Morocco in Autumn, Desert, Marrakech, and Chefchaouen!

We've got a good feedback from our customers again!
Here's what they say:

=============================================

It was our first visit to a country in Africa, and we really enjoyed it.
We had the same driver all through our tour and he was very helpful.

When we wanted to go to a supermarket, he just came with us.
During the driving, he always stopped where we wanted to take photos.
He also explained what the places are, where we are going.
Thanks to him, we enjoyed all the places we visited. Sightseeing, shopping, everything was wonderful.

In Marrakech, we got lost often but it was an exciting experience.
At the shops in souk, we negotiated the prices and we could buy more than we expected.
Also we enjoyed food stalls in Jemaa el Fna.

Desert Dune in Merzouga
In Merzouga, we enjoyed our first camel trekking!
At the camping site, we climbed up high on the dune and the camel boy helped us get to the top. From there, we had a great view of the sunrise.

In Chefchaouen, we walked around with a local guide and he actually took us all the places we needed to see. We had a chance to talk with some locals and now we are Facebook friends!

Thank you for making our tour great and something special.

Luxury Desert Tent with Shower and Toilet

Interested in spending a night in a desert camp.
But no way for a 1 or 2 hours camel ride.
And it doesn't sound so good, "no shower, no toilet."

If you think like this, why not trying a "VIP tent" near desert hotels?
You can get here by 4x4 car.
They have water, so you can wash your hands, take a shower, and the toilet flushes.
In this way, you're still in the middle of desert!

This is how the VIP tent looks like. It has doors!

Among tents, there's a way made by carpets and bright with candle lights at night.

You sleep in a big bed in the tent. So comfortable, just like a hotel room.

Toilet, shower, and you can wash your face and hands.

If you visit another tent, the color is different.

A big tent for dinner and you could enjoy music show here. If you add poles, Berber tents can get bigger just like you want.

You can try VIP tent with our desert tours such as:
- 2 Nights 3 Days Marrakech - Desert - Fez
- 2 Nights 3 Days Fez - Desert - Marrakech
- 7 Days All Morocco (Casablanca to Casablanca)
- 8 Days All Morocco (Marrakech to Marrakech)

Meet Our Camels! Funny Guys in the Desert

Camels are our important assets. Usually camel trekking is so popular among tourists and in the busy time, we could be in short of camels even hotel rooms are still available!

Camels in Morocco are rather small and quiet. Easy to ride even for children.

They follow the directions of camel boys just like dogs. So clever!

After the morning sunrise tour, also breakfast time for camels. One is waiting for the other one to finish. Maybe this one is polite.

Or they are just so close.

Camels' legs are very thin and long. And their neck is rather long, it reaches the ground. They are so carefree, never mind who is around them, just like Moroccans :-)

More about Desert with Merzouga 4WD Driving!

Desert camping with camel is not the only attraction in Merzouga.
If you get in there with a 4WD car, you'll fine more about amazing desert nature.
Let's go deep into the desert with us!

Petrol station with a supermarket in the desert. Our 4WD with filled petrol will take us to the desert, with no one around!

Some people have heard about this strange place. There's a big lake in the middle of the desert and you can see birds arrving here, sometimes it's flamingos. No tree. Only some short grasses are around there.

Stop by an African village to enjoy gnawa music show. Gnawa is an African Islamic traditional music and now it's quite popular in Morocco.

When it rains, there's a river here. But usually, it's just dry like this, something called wadi (dried river).

Over the great view of the dried river, local boys are selling stones and minerals on top pf the hill. Precious stones and minerals are local specialties of this area.

Modern Merzouga town was firstly developed by European military. Now the town was moved and the old place is still there just like ruins.

Here's a big mine in the desert. Various kinds of precious stones are minerals are digged and processed here.

This worker has very specific skills of taking our precious stones. You can actually see how they work.

Time for lunch! Berber tent is cool even in the shiny desert weather.

Salad, brochette (broiled meat) or tajine are served here. Very relaxing afternoon time is passing in the shadowy Berber tent.

And a long driving before you get to the Merzouga town. There are no roads and no signs in the desert but the drivers somehow know how to get the right directions. They are naturally trained in the desert.

Walk on the Fossils in the Desert!

Our city Erfoud is world-famous for its fossil mines & quarries, and small factories in town are processing fossil stones everyday to make tables, trays, and accessories.
If you have a chance to stay in Erfoud, please experience the fossil world!

Many of the fossil processing is still a hand-made work. If you go to one of the factories, you can actually see how the stones are cut, and how to shape tables and trays.

Gift products are sent to shops all around Morocco from Erfoud factories. None of them has the same shape or the same pattern. if you buy one, that's the only one in the world!

When you go ahead to mines and quarries in the desert, you'll see big mountains and sometimes kasbahs which were built long time ago. This one was made for some kind of military purposes. It's totally a ruin but we can still get to the half of the watch tower.

Near the mines and quarries, you can find a traditional Berber style guesthouse. Have a tea for a break!

Near the quarry, ancient ammonites and squids are everywhere, just under your steps.

Sunset in the desert is always amazing, the sky changes the color a little by little. You can feel lucky just by seeing these beautiful sunsets.

Enjoy Erfoud with us!

Nasser Palace, Desert Hotel in Merzouga

I'll show you our favorite desert hotel, Nasser Palace, in Merzouga.

It has a traditional kasbah style, you could get into the Berber world immediately.

The courtyard is with a swimming pool and breakfast tables. Very beautiful natural colours.

The rooms are in very typical Berber style. It's like being in a cave or grotto.

At night, you can enjoy dinner and Berber music show.
Very peaceful, relaxing night at desert.
